Darelle Holden

“Soulful songstress Darelle (Da-rell) Holden is the one”.

Darelle Holden’s silky smooth vocal stylings have taken her all over the world, both as a critically acclaimed solo artist and a much sought after back-up vocalist. Darelle has performed with legends, including Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Bobby Caldwell, Norman Brown, and Tom Jones, who lauded her as “a great singer”.

 

A native of Seattle, WA, Darelle grew up immersed in music.  Her talents lead her to Berklee College of Music, where she studied with some of the top talents in the world before launching a prolific career as a touring back-up singer.

 

Darelle is a gifted songwriter and solo artist releasing several jazz-pop EPs under her own name. In 2012 she emerged with her first EP ‘Can You Hear Me,’ a collection of romantic, genre transcendent songs. Her recent self-titled release, Darelle Holden, is a collection of songs that show the accumulated wisdom and grace of a lifetime spent in music. Darelle has established herself as a distinctly individual artist with real staying power.

 

Darelle has been nominated several times for vocalist of the year, Golden Ear Awards, Earshot Jazz, most recently in 2023.
